I second the request for an iphone version

There are no plans for a Mac version of Plan or an iPhone version of InFlight.

SkyDemon on the iPad would be a "killer".

P.S. I have it running on my MacBook using Wine, it kind of works with some issues I have yet to resolve.

Not a chance. We'll have a version of Plan that runs on netbooks with InFlight features before long, which will be a much better experience than would be available on an iPad.

Why not? It seems perfect to me. Big screen, still thin and light for the confined space of the cockpit. Built in GPS (3G model) and even compass. Wifi and 3G (download weather and NOTAM). Great battery life (at least on paper) and powerful processor.



OK, I'm starting to sound like I work for Apple. I don't. It's a bit pricey. And it's not out yet. But still. Think about it.

I would immediately buy a Mac version, if available.

Am using Parallel to run Skydemon. Works very well.

I would buy the iPad immediately if I could run Plan on it...

Any tablet should run it just fine. Obviously the faster it is, and the greater the battery life, the better. If you can find one with a built-in GPS receiver that can be helpful. Screen readability in sunlight is the other concern.
